*This is an underestimate…

  • Teens and young adults are at increased risk of suicide, as suicide was the 2nd leading cause of death in individuals 10-34 years old in the year 2017 (NIMH, 2019).
  • Suicide was the 4th leading cause of death in adults ages 35-54 years old (NIMH, 2019).
  • Suicide is preventable!
  • Mental health conditions are treatable!

We all struggle with day-to-day stress with work, school, and relationships. Many also struggle from more severe forms of stress such as trauma and addiction. If left unchecked and untreated, any kind of stress can lead to anxiety, depression, sleep problems, physical symptoms, chronic medical problems, addiction, more serious mental health conditions, suicidal thoughts, and suicide.

YOU are not alone. Please reach out to someone if you or someone you know if suffering.

Be well,
